Here is a beta from DSDTSE to test under Windows XP only, Vista and 7 are giving some troubles when compiling (there is no text output coming from iasl for windows when compiling), we hope find  soon that bug and then make DSDTSE compatible with all windows versions.

Thanks to yehia2amer, now it´s fully functional, he discovered the bug was on iasl compiler form intel, last version is already fine. All woes goes to him. 

This first version is a reduced version from DSDTSE, we have plans to add all the features from Osx version.

After a successfull compile, a window will open to show you the compiled .aml and the uncompiled .dsl, if the compile is unsuccessfull, no dsdt.aml will be created.

You can post here any other bug you may find on the XP version.

Esta es una versión beta de DSDTSE para  Windows XP, Vista y 7 están dando algunos problemas al compilar (no hay salida de texto procedentes de iasl al compilar para Windows), esperamos encontrar muy pronto ese error y  hacer DSDTSE compatible con todas los versiones de Windows.

Grácias a Yehia2amer, el programa ya funciona en XP, Vista y 7, el bug correspondia a la versión del compilador de intel Iasl.

Esta primera versión es una versión reducida de DSDTSE, tenemos planes para agregar todas las características de la versión Osx.

Después de una exitosa compilación, se abrirá una ventana  que muestra el archivo .aml y el archivo descompilado .dsl.

Puedes publicar aquí cualquier otro error que puedas encontrar en la versión XP.

Estamos probando una nueva versión de DSDT con la intención de eliminar un bug que se produce en algunos sistemas al abrir la aplicación (DSDTSE falla al crear las carpetas de trabajo y  envia un mensaje de Nilobjectexception).

El objetivo del test es descargar DSDTSE  al escritorio y abrirlo, despues postead en los comentarios si abrió correctamente o falló al abrir.

Haced click con el botón de la derecha sobre el disco de sistema–>obtener información, y postead la información de los permisos por ejemplo:

System: Lectura y escritura

Admin: Lectura y escritura

Todo el mundo: Solo leer

Si encontráis mas bugs, comentadlo.

We are doing some tests to solve a bug on DSDTSE, it happends on some systems where DSDTSE fails to create it´s working folders and throw a “Nilobjectexception”.

The test consist only on download, open DSDTSE and post if it opens for you or it fails.

Also post the information about your system disk permissions on this way:

Right click system disk—>get info and take a look onto the permissions, post how yours are set:

System: read and write

Admin: read and write

Everyone: only read

Post results (and any other bug you may find) on comments.

Cansados de encontrar a Psystar cada vez que mirabamos el IOREG, hemos desarrollado este nuevo kext que es la alternativa a Openhaltrestart de Psystar, solucionando los problemas de reinicio y apagado en Snow Leopard.

EvOsx86 team os trae esta vez un parche para el boot de Netkas PCEFI V10.3, este parche añade soporte para porder cargar los rom binarios de ATI (en el archivo adjunto encontrareis una rom de Ati 4890) en Snow leopard.

Si usáis bin_image, podéis sacarla de vuestro sistema y convertirla a ATI.ROM usando ioregistry explorer y un editor hexadecimal (Se copia la información desde Ioregistryexplorer y se pega en un archivo hexadecimal nuevo, salvandose como ATI.ROM).

Por ahora se está trabajando en añadir autodetección de framebuffer en el parche, si queréis cargar tarjetas cuyo framebuffer sea Wormy, Megalodon, etc, tendréis que editar el diff suministrado para setear el framebuffer correspondiente.

Nota, deberéis de tener las fuentes de Chameleon RC3, el diff de Netkas y este diff para compilar el boot correctamente.

EvOsx86 team brings you this time a patch for Netkas´s PCEFI V10.3, this patch adds support to load ATI binary roms (in the attachment you will find a  Ati 4890 rom) in Snow Leopard.

If you use bin_image, you can pick it from ioregistry explorer and convert it to ATI.ROM using a hex editor (the information is copied and pasted from Ioregistryexplorer,then create a new hex file on a hex editor and save it as ATI.ROM).

For now, adding auto framebuffer in the patch is a work on progress, if you want to load cards which has framebuffers as Wormy, Megalodon, etc, you must edit the diff provided for setting the corresponding framebuffer.

Note, you will have to use Chameleon RC3 sources, Netkas diff for Chameleon RC3 and this diff to compile the boot correctly.

Se trata del port a Snow Leopard x64 de la popular utilidad UNIX lspci, que nos permite tener de manera clara información de nuestros dispositivos de hardware.
En esta ocasión , solo es necesario ejecutar el .pkg adjunto y la utilidad quedara instalada y operativa.
Nótese que solo es compatible con Snow Leopard.

No es un parcheador automático, contiene las herramientas, fixes y hacks para que os resulte más comodo el trabajo en el DSDT.

qoopz nos deja un refrescante nuevo trabajo… un script (creado por Dense y modificado por qoopz) que nos permitirá crear nuestro propio kernel 10.5.8 basado en Voodoo.

Contiene el script de compilación del kernel y los parches que se le aplican.

Podemos modificar los parches del kernel para poder obtener diferentes versiones adaptadas a nuestras necesidades ó simplemente compilar el kernel por nosotros mismos.

Es necesario tener instalada la última versión de Xcode para poder compilar.

Para compilar deberéis de acceder a la carpeta voodoobuild-0.3.980d desde el terminal y ejecutar el script  así:

sh voodoobuild.sh

ó

./voodoobuild.sh

Si aparece un error “libc” al compilar, mueve la carpeta /usr/lib/dtrace temporalmente hasta que termines la compilación.

Cuando termine la compilación, encontraréis el kernel dentro de la carpeta con el nombre “mach_kernel_9.8.0_voodoo”, para instalarlo, haced copia de seguridad del kernel que useis y renombrar el nuevo kernel a “mach_kernel” (sin comillas, claro).

Os presentamos un injector para Snow Leopard compatible 32/64.

Puede injectar cualquier tarjeta gráfica Ati/Nvidia soportada por Snow simplemente cambiando el contenido de la sección “entries to add” dentro del info.plist del enabler

El enabler trae por defecto la configuración de una Ati 4890, pero puede ser cambiada simplemente cambiando la sección comentada anteriormente.

Recordad, si tenéis un injector funcionando en Leopard y queréis usar este nuevo enabler, solo eliminad el contenido de la sección “Entries to add” del info.plist del EVOenabler y sustituidla por la de vuestro antiguo injector.
